I’ve read the Bible from cover to cover which is why I’m an atheist. If you think Trump’s a great man, you are not following scripture. He is a con man, an adulterer, a liar, a thief and with the blowing up of boats in the Caribbean, you can add murderer to the list. He hates smart women and minorities along with anyone else who doesn’t conform to his arrogant image, which prizes loyalty over defending the Constitution or following the Bible. He commits the Seven Deadly Sins as easily as we breath:
Pride: He covers his flaws with make up and constantly praises himself as well as demanding praise from his fawning MAGA base. He wants to slap his name to everything possible so he will be remembered, but fails to see how this only makes him less important.
Envy: He belittles those who question him by bestowing them with childish nicknames while seeking the praise of dictators. He refuses to accept that anyone else could be his equal.
Wrath: He is so thin-skinned that the slightest provocation can release his anger. His pettiness has him seeking vengeance on those he believes have wronged him.
Sloth: He is notoriously lazy, only coming to the Oval Office after noon and leaving before 5 while he spends nights slouching in his bed while making threatening posts on social media.
Greed: There is never enough for him which is why he is always scheming to get more. He will regularly dupe his followers, many of whom are struggling financially, to buy his crappy merchandise.
Gluttony: His atrocious eating habits include gorging on fast food and guzzling Diet Coke.
Lust: See Access Hollywood. He has been accused of multiple acts of sexual assault and his desire to keep the Epstein files hidden suggest this includes minors.
So, this is your “great man”?
For a while now I’ve been referring to the religious right as #FakeChristians. They see themselves as uber-patriots who falsely claim that America was founded to be a White Christian nation. They are far more twisted than that. They are Charlie Kirk Christians
When Charlie Kirk was murdered, there was a collective outpouring of Grief and outrage. These so-called Christians had elevated Kirk to the status of sainthood. They viewed him as the future of MAGA. His death destroyed those dreams prompting vengeance against anyone who spoke ill of their new messiah. People were fired from their jobs for even liking a post that failed to demonstrate fealty to his memory. They demanded statues be erected and a holiday declared in his honor just like Martin Luther King. They wanted streets renamed like those that had Black Lives Matter or those with crosswalks painted with rainbows.
Not the stuff a normally sane person would do, is it?
Charlie Kirk Christians worship a lily-white Jesus with flowing blond hair. They cherry-pick Bible verses that fit their agenda while ignoring those that contradict their distorted beliefs. Because of that, they believe in the superiority of white males. They demand that women submit to their husbands in a Handmaid’s Tale fashion.
Their minds are closed to any thinking. They rely on old white men to make decisions regarding a woman’s body. They claim homosexuality is an abomination and a sin in the eyes of the god they worship. They see the white race as superior as they spew hatred upon immigrants and non-Christians while claiming to deny their antisemitism.
Beware of the Charlie Kirk Christians who hold a Bible in one hand and a gun in the other. Their support of the Second Amendment is absolute, yet like their Biblical interpretations, they elect to ignore the parts of the Constitution that don’t fit their agenda.
Charlie Kirk Christians are the ultimate hypocrites.
