Daily Looks: Week Ending 10.31.25

My 60th birthday celebration started this week, and my theme for the big year is to incorporate 60 NEW things. It’s going to be a year-long adventure, and I’m starting even before the big day.

My emails are my way of sharing fun, positive content with you from all the sites I visit during the week. Sure, you also get my free eBook when you sign up, but that’s not the best part.
The best part is you get a daily dose of positive energy.

SATURDAY

Today we are off to our first-ever Arizona Ballet to see Sleeping Beauty. It’s the kickoff for my 60 New Things for my 60th birthday.

And I figured a princess outfit was appropriate. I layered 4 tulle skirts to make a dress. And a metal belt at the top as decor.

You’ve seen the blue print skirt worn as a prompt for dark colors in summer, and the white polka dot one as a top and as an overlay.
I’ve worn the pearl, long white skirt under an orange fringe skirt (TT video). I know I’ve worn the burgundy one before, but I can’t find proof.

Gold Mary Janes and my shoulder-scraping earrings are part of the look.
Plus, I’m taking this handknitted wrap in case the venue is chilly.

SUNDAY

I purchased the top from the Nuuly site (that I shared in my email), and it’s even better in person. The incredible thing is that it had never been worn (it still had the $250 tag on it), and it fits fabulously.

Now, maybe I should have paired it with something more basic than my new fringe skirt, but I’m all about more, extra, and fun.

The only reason I put socks with my heels today is because my toenails are naked, so that fixed that issue easily.

I wore a delicate gold necklace and architectural earrings.

MONDAY

We are off to Yogalates today, so I kept my dog walking outfit on.

However, I did origami the sweatshirt a bit to create an asymmetrical hemline and some shaping. FB video here
I also pulled the neckline more to one side for fun.

And the baseball cap…not only trendy but very functional.

TUESDAY

This is the vest from Anthropology’s Nuuly rental sale site. I always like to wear my new clothing as soon as I can, so I remember that I have them.

I layered the vest over this asymmetrical sweater with a sheer layer. Along with my baggy jeans shorts that I’ve worn so much. (they are less than $12 in other colors.)

My Love of color shows up with my pink cowboy boots and pink accessories.

Pro tip: Yes you can wear bracelets OVER your long sleeves.

WEDNESDAY

I’m off to have fun at one of Just Be Youtiful fashion shows, so everything I’m wearing is from her boutique.

I’m wearing this long, flowy, maxi skirt that can be origami-ed in multiple ways shown in this TT video. Very similar to our tropical palm skirts, where we showed how a skirt can be transformed into other shapes.

This blazer is one of those incredible pieces where the sheer part is attached. But it makes me think you could pin a scarf to a blazer and have it look like this.

Then I’m wearing floral sneakers and some pink earrings. A bit matchy-matchy for me, but maybe I’ll switch up the earrings.

FRIDAY

I know I just wore this green/leopard dress 2 weeks ago as a dress, but it was hanging next to these pants in the laundry room, and I realized how the leopard prints were very similar.

So I decided to experiment with a dress over the pants.
I know the combination can seem weird, but I’m working on a video of how to change the proportions, which might make you like it better.

One way, obviously, with this cardigan pin.

Then I wore my green Cariuma sneakers and crystal earrings.
