The most surprising result from 2025 was that the 3 top products purchased through my links were makeup products…not clothing.
Which proves what I’ve always believed: when we feel good in our skin, everything else gets easier. In fact, I rambled about the idea if makeup makes us look better.
Many of the most popular items purchased through my links are from blog posts, but just as many are from my emails, where I share day-to-day findings.

This one ran away with the top spot, and I couldn’t be happier about it. I talk about this product often in my emails as well, and I wrote an article about it.
I would have never tried this mineral foundation if it weren’t for the fact, I created some content for the brand over 4 years ago. After trying it, I realized that it didn’t settle into my lines, and I didn’t need a primer with it.
Insider info: I use the Fair color, and my mom uses Porcelain.
I’ve continued to use it ever since I found it. Even though I’ve tried a couple of other foundations in the meantime, I keep coming back to Laura Geller’s because it works for me.
I think so many of you loved it because it’s real-life makeup. The kind you can put on, get dressed, and move on with your day feeling polished.
Besides, it doesn’t hurt that there are sales often, and that’s when I stock up.

Right behind the foundation was Laura Geller’s blush serum.
Because blush is one of those things that quietly changes everything.
I discovered this product while looking at Laura Geller’s site during a sale period, and wondered if it was similar to the liquid blushes I used to love.
Even though Laura Geller’s foundation is a powder, I love the idea of a liquid blush, and I alternate between the Refreshing Rose in the winter (when I need more color) and the Poppy Peach in the summer.
Brows matter. Period. It’s the reason my article about different ways to fill them in has been so popular.
And this pen? It’s one of those “can’t live without” products. I have tried some other brands with this multi-tip effect, but they dried up too fast and wouldn’t work.
That’s why I’m singing from the rooftops about this one.

I’ve discussed them before, but in 2025, they were having a moment, even with the young girls. That’s why we showcased modern ways to style them.
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: brooches are the unsung heroes of a wardrobe.
The best part? Brooches can be found for a steal.
For example, the brooch bundles on Etsy or the other one you all loved, the set from Walmart. Heck, you can also find them at secondhand stores or your mother’s jewelry drawer.
