Earlier this year, that mission took center stage at the Alibaba x Kickstarter CoCreate Pitch Challenge in Las Vegas. Out of more than 20,000 global applicants, Joe & Bella was selected as one of just 10 winners, hosted by Shark Tank’s Daymond John and judged by Shark Tank’s Lori Greiner, and Kickstarter CEO Everette Taylor.
When they called our name, something clicked: literally and figuratively. Backstage, trophy in hand, we showed Everette Taylor our next Innovation, a self-latching magnetic zipper hoodie. It wasn’t even a finished product yet, but his reaction said it all. His enthusiasm and encouragement gave us the push we needed.
