Daily Looks: Week Ending 11.22.24

This week, I had days when I turned a summer item into a winter item. Rob liked Saturday’s dress so much that he had me purchase it from my clothing rental company.

I think you would enjoy signing up for the emails below. In addition to the free eBook, my email family gets personal tidbits about what’s going on in my life, along with other happenings, sales, information, giveaways, extra photos, and interesting articles.

Insider tip: I’m sharing many of my daily outfits in video format on TikTok if you’re interested.

Saturday

Daily Looks: Week Ending 11.22.24 &Raquo; Sat 1
Dress: Grey Lab- Your Revolving Closet ~~ Jacket: Free People-thrifted~~Boots: Macys

This dress was in my clothing rental box and I wanted to see if I could make it work for cold temps since it’s sleeveless and a bit on the short side.

So I added a turtleneck Halftee (which only covers my arms and neck…nothing around my midriff).

Insider code: Use Jtouch20 for 20% off.

Then I wore my OTK boots (with kneesocks) and finally added this faux fur jacket (that I’ve worn with jeans in the past).

And it’s the season for my fuzzy earrings. Everyone needs a pair of these for the winter.

You might ask why you would want such a bold jacket, but hear me out. If you are someone who doesn’t like to add a ton of extras with your accessories and such, then a jacket like this is a great option to give your outfit personality.

Sunday

Daily Looks: Week Ending 11.22.24 &Raquo; Sun 2
Dress: FRNCH-Your Revolving Closet ~~Jacket: Nordstrom~~Boots: Charming Charlie-DSW

This was another “summer” dress that came in my clothing rental box, and I was excited to see if I could make it work for our cooler temperatures.

Personally, too much of the “winter” clothing at the stores is dark and muted. Those colors don’t make me happy, so I find I buy more in the summertime. Although I do love all of the sparkles and sequins that I see now…

Anyway, this look started with another Halftee turtleneck in cranberry. Some of the colors are discontinued and thus on sale. Don’t forget my discount, Jtouch20.

I carried that color throughout the outfit with my belt and boots.

Insider tip: What you don’t see are my fleece tights under the dress. It’s an advantage of maxi dresses where you can hide leggings or tights under them for warmth.

Then I added an ivory leather jacket. Another option would be a black one, but I wanted to keep the overall vibe lighter.

Monday

Dress: Gilli-Your Revolving Closet~~Blazer: The Limited~~Boots: Penny Loves Kenny

This was another “summer” dress in my clothing rental box and the length on me was a maxi dress (only a midi on the model here). So what I did, was use my Beltless belt and pull up the material. Since it’s under the green sweater, you can’t tell.

I layered this sweater hoodie that I bought for $1 this summer and hadn’t had a chance to wear yet.

Then since I’m off to a dental cleaning appointment, I added the blazer (from my working days).

I wore my rose gold booties and rose gold earrings, and I loved how they came together.

Tuesday

Daily Looks: Week Ending 11.22.24 &Raquo; Tues 2
Jeans: Old Navy~~Cardigan: Finesse- thrifted for $1~~Boots: Betsey Johnson

I’ve been trying to go through the items that I thrifted this summer but were winter items that I couldn’t wear until it cooled down. This cardigan is one of them. I did showcase it once, but I was only able to wear it for minutes. Now I can wear it all day.

That’s how the outfit started. With the cardigan.

I almost wore a solid top under it, but then changed to this print top.

For my bottom half, I was going to wear grey jeans, but the outfit needed more contrast, so I put on these wide jeans that I had just recently bought from Old Navy.

And these Betsey Johnson booties were perfect.

Now let’s talk about the elephant in the room—MY BELT. I know, it’s crazy. But I wanted something fun and interesting. Obviously, it’s a home decor tassel that I held together with a metal spring from Etsy.

Wednesday

Daily Looks: Week Ending 11.22.24 &Raquo; Wed 2
Skirt: no label-Just Be Youtiful~~Cape: Just Be Youtiful~~Shoes: Banana Republic Factory

This outfit is nothing like how it was started/imagined. I was going to wear this dress from my clothing rental box and layer this striped blouse under it. But it wasn’t working.
But since I already had the color combination of green and purple in my brain, I decided to use it with other items.

I grabbed this green plaid skirt and then added this purple cape over top. Check out those pom poms on the ends of the cape!! Total texture fun.

Both the cape and the skirt have volume, but I like how it works together.

Instead of boots or booties, I went with my gold Mary Janes. They are currently only $36 and they even have them in red now. Perfect for the upcoming holidays.
FYI-I think they would be super fun with colorful socks too. Trust me…I’ll be styling that soon.

I held the sides of the cape together with a brooch I recently purchased from a friend’s Etsy page. She has a bunch of cool things that she finds and creates.

Friday

Daily Looks: Week Ending 11.22.24 &Raquo; Fri 1
Pants: Venti6~~Vest: Old Navy~~Booties: Vivaia c/o

I wanted to wear one of my hand-knit sweaters to dog training, and this colorful one seemed perfect for the season.

I paired it with a pair of faux leather joggers and added more layers since dog training is outside. I wore a collared shirt under the sweater and a vest over it.

This leopard hat used to be my bestie’s mom’s hat and it even has ear flaps if it’s really chilly.

I wore brown booties (reviewed years ago here) with my brown Sheec ankle socks too so there wasn’t bare ankle showing.

And I made another necklace out of a chain necklace and brooches. You can see a close-up at the top of this post.

Thank you
