Dr. Laura Gabayan is a world-renowned physician and researcher. She is regarded internationally as an expert in research. In her book, Common Wisdom, she scientifically defines wisdom as 8 elements.

She emigrated to the US at the age of 6 and attended UCLA for all her schooling.

Beginning in 2014, Dr. Gabayan focused on deeper questions surrounding the meaning of life and wisdom. She found that in the past, the age-old topic of wisdom was approached anecdotally and subjectively. She then created The Wisdom Research Project where she interviewed 60 wise individuals across North America. This multi-year project led to the book, Common Wisdom, a fascinating and concise explanation of how to live a more meaningful life and have wisdom.
