Technology definitely has its place. Like I discussed with Matt Rosenthal in the previous episode (#62) technology can be very beneficial to business and life if used correctly.
I use a lot of different technological pieces to aid in my business and life. Here are some of the main ones I use that align with the 3 pillars of a fulfilled life.
In the Health pillar:
- Sleep Cycle – I use this to track my Sleep so I know if I am getting rested. It tracks the different sleep cycles I enter, if I snore, the quality of sleep, and a handful of other metrics. It's free but there is also a paid subscription as well.
Purpose pillar:
- Focus Keeper – I Love this simple app. It is designed around the Pomodoro technique. You work for a chosen amount of time then you have a scheduled break for a shorter amount of time. A work & break session together equal a block. 4 blocks and that 4th break is longer. This really helps me stay on task, not get distracted, and I get a lot more done in an efficient manner.
- Canva – My all time favorite piece of technology that helps me create all my digital marketing, social media posts, and any other sort of visual product I put out there. It is so simple to use and with the paid subscription you can save branding colors and logos. They have a lot of pre-done templates to help you just starting out. Wealth Pillar:
- Bluehost – I use this as my website hosting platform. It is very reliable and simple to use. They also offer lots of great templates to help you in creating your businesses website.
