For this month’s challenge, we are suggesting that you, every day, find ways to show gratitude. What is the meaning of gratitude?

Let’s face it, we all go through ups and downs and some days are harder than others to practice gratitude. First, we’re going to list some benefits to showing gratitude and then ways to practice it.
According to conehealth.com, here are seven benefits to practicing an “attitude of gratitude”:

Better willpower
Improved self-esteem
Better Relationships
Improved self-care
Ways to practice gratitude:
Keep a gratitude journal and add to it every day
Tell someone you love them and appreciate them
Notice the beauty in nature each day
Value your friendships
Smile more often
Make it a habit to do one act of kindness every day
Volunteer
Do not talk negatively about others
Spend quality time with your loved ones
Meditate with your gratitude list
Best of all, gratitude is free! Sometimes, we all need a reminder to appreciate the good things in our life so take the time to pause, daily for things that you are grateful for.
