60 Seconds for Motivate Your Monday: Each 1 Reach 10.

  1. 60 Seconds for Motivate Your Monday: Each 1 Reach 10. 2:11

Hello to you, brother Steve, celebrating your Happy Birthday in Gaithersburg, Maryland!

Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is 60 Seconds, your daily dose of hope, imagination, Wisdom, stories, practical tips, and general riffing on this and that.

In his commencement speech to students graduating from the University of Texas Admiral William H. McRaven, (BJ ’77, ninth commander of U.S. Special Operations Command, Texas Exes Life Member, and Distinguished Alumnus) said, assume as an average American you will meet 10,000 people in your lifetime. Assume further that if every 1 of you 8,000 graduating students changed the lives of just 10 people and each 1 of those folks changed the lives of another 10 people – then in 5 generations the class of 2014 will have changed the lives of 800 million people. Imagine that!

Often we get so mired in all the social media clamor for approval that we disregard how we might be shifting attitudes, behaviors and cultures by pursuing our purpose, influencing others we might never meet or know.

Practical Tip: Create your content. Offer your good work. Intend that you will shift lives to the better.

This is the place to thrive together. Come for the stories – stay for the magic. Speaking of magic, I hope you’ll subscribe, follow, share a nice shout out on your social media or podcast channel of choice, including Android, and join us next time! You’re invited to stop by the website and subscribe to stay current with Diane, her journeys, her guests, as well as creativity, imagination, walking, stories, camaraderie, and so much more: Quarter Moon Story Arts

Diane Wyzga Story Guide/Coach, Podcaster, Speaker & Trainer

Remember the first time you rode a bike and took your hands off the handlebars? And then because it felt fun and scary you did it again until you were streaking down a hill with the wind blowing in your face and your hands up over your head screaming, “Look ma! No hands!” That’s been the story of Diane's life. Showing up - maybe scared but not afraid - because when you fall down 7 you get up 8.

With 30 years in healthcare, business, law, higher education and storytelling Diane created a niche the world needs: helping socially conscious professionals and organizations connect, engage & succeed by crafting the stories that communicate their message. A recognized global podcaster (Stories From Women Who Walk and Daily 60 Seconds) Diane shares wisdom and interviews designed to help others become successful story creators.
