Dr. Mariette Ayala is a Research, Evaluation, and Curriculum Consultant committed to advancing digital equity and expanding access to transformative learning opportunities. She leads the design and evaluation of high-quality, learner-centered digital literacy programs that empower both educators and communities. Her work bridges research and practice, ensuring that curriculum is not only accessible and inclusive, but also grounded in measurable impact.
Mariette earned her Ph.D. in Urban Education, Leadership, and Policy from the University of Massachusetts Boston, where her research examined the systemic barriers that limit underserved communities’ access to quality education and digital resources. This foundation continues to shape her equity-driven, community-centered approach to program design and implementation.
Across leadership roles at UMass Boston, NYU, and community-based organizations, Mariette has built initiatives that strengthen student success, expand economic mobility, and create sustainable pathways to opportunity.
