All three are podcasters, creators, and beyond enthusiastic about their chosen paths. Jonathan is a writer/director/producer, Geekscape.net; Larry is a "pop culture entrepreneur," Trekland; and Kandas is the founder of Gratitude Geek.
The trio share their backstories – including but not limited to their Love of science fiction – and passions for pop culture … and go on many tangents! The beauty of Sci Fi, they said, is "If you can imagine it, it can happen." It was the perfect panel of Star Wars Day." May the 4th be with you.
Why SciFi?
Larry: Whether you like fiction or nonfiction Sci Fi will appeal to you. It’s the "what if" factor
Kandas: Sci Fi gives us something to be curious about
Jonathan: It helps you tell stories, a prism to a world you can’t control
What is Fandom?
Larry: It’s a spectrum, not a box. Some people just watch the shows, many are online fans, while others show up in real life. There is no one box
Kandas: It’s the community you build or join
Jonathan: The ability to create and be part of something; to create worlds for others

Goals
Kandas: Go to a pop culture convention. Experience the amount of joy – because everyone there is happy
Jonathan: Explore inner ideas. Then write forward – using paper!
Larry: The next time you are watching or reading something and get wound up about something they’ve done wrong, take a breath. Use it as inspiration to make something else
Final Thoughts
Jonathan: Don’t hate. Create!
Larry: Trek Well!
Kandas: Never give up, never surrender
