GoalChat: Redhead Edition with Chrissy Bernal, Lee Jessup & Tamara Krinsky

On this week’s GoalChat, Debra Eckerling hosts a Redhead fest with Chrissy Bernal, Be A Better Brand; Lee Jessup, Screenwriting Career Coach; and Tamara Krinsky, Writer and TV Host. Redhead Day is May 26 – the day after Memorial Day, so they decided to celebrate early and turn it into Redhead Month!

The panel shares their redhead origin stories, early traits and aha moments, the importance of building a life that reflects your passions, and more. They talk about creativity, carving your own path, confidence, and why being a “redhead” is really more of a mindset than a hair color.

What it Means to be a Redhead
– Tamara: It’s less as a stereotype and more as a way of operating in the world; leaning into curiosity, adaptability, and the willingness to step into the unknown without needing everything fully defined first
– Chrissy: There’s a level of confidence comes with the color – you’re going to stick out anywhere you go – people will notice and remember you
– Lee: As redheads, as women, and as as you age and grow up, the hope is that us redheads carry less apology for who we are and what we are; we step into it

Leaning into the Redhead Spirit
– Lee: Stepping into and owning your uniqueness
– Tamara: Not having to do everything perfectly; jump in – you will figure it out; embrace the unknown
– Chrissy: Divergence, making your own path

Goals
– Chrissy: Take a look at your life and see what you can change to make it what you want to be. If you want your external to change, the inside needs to change first or concurrently
– Lee: Ask yourself what are you doing just for you that brings you, joy, relief, satisfaction? Joy begets joy!
– Tamara: Lean into the "what if" of it all. Stop stopping yourself from pursuing what’s next. Lean into any fear – work through it

Final Thoughts
– Chrissy: Self-imposed limits are self-imposed. Don’t do that!
– Lee: Ask yourself what you would do if you weren’t afraid . and do it
– Tamara: Please keep seeing movies in theaters. Also, don’t be afraid to ask for help
