1. D-Care The Dementia Care Study Kim Hegwood 22:58

“In a nutshell, this is about improving care for people who have dementia, but it also includes providing support and resources for the caregivers. So that’s the unique part about this study. It approaches what we call the dyad, which is those two people that are most affected by the dementia diagnosis.” Alice Williams

Alice Williams, the Community Education Specialist for the Sealy Center on Aging at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston joins Kim Hegwood on the Life Happens Show today to talk about D-Care The Dementia Care Study. A few questions Kim will be asking are:

2. What are the potential benefits of participating in the D-CARE study?

3. Who is eligible to participate?

4. How do eligible people enroll in the study?

5. How long is the study and how much time/effort is required of participants?

6. Where can I find more information about the D-CARE study?
