In this episode, you will find out that the real tension making you feel stuck is not just about overwhelm at home or being in the wrong career. It could be that you are staying in a career you already know isn't leading toward the life you actually want.

If you have been feeling restless, frustrated with yourself, or irritated with everyone around you, this episode is for you. We explore the “secret tension” that no one is talking about: the conflict between your current role and your future vision.

In this episode, we cover:

  • The 3 Reasons You Feel Frustrated: Why feeling stuck usually comes down to undefined career seasons, overloaded life capacity, or a misaligned direction.
  • The 4 Career Seasons: How to identify if you are in the “Stay and Strengthen,” “Adjust and Realign,” “Explore What's Possible,” or “Ready to Take a Strategic Leap” phase.
  • Capacity Reality Check: How to ask yourself if you are truly maxed out or if you are actually hiding behind your busyness.
  • The Vision Question: The one critical question to ask yourself: “If I keep giving maximum effort to this current life for the next 3-5 years, will it move me toward the life I want or further from it?”.

When your career season aligns with the life you are building toward, even a full season feels manageable and meaningful.

Sheri Miter Serial Entrepreneur

Sheri Miter is a serial entrepreneur. Her first business was selling painted rocks to neighbors when she was 7! This entrepreneurial spirit led her to many failures but also some huge successes, such as a Chimney Cleaning business with her husband Tom, a professional firefighter, and eventually a business as a Mary Kay sales director. While in Mary Kay, Sheri led her team to six-figure years multiple times, and YES, she drove the iconic pink Cadillac for part of her career!

Despite her success as a Sales Director in Mary Kay, Sheri found herself at a crossroads after 25 years. She began to question if this was the path she truly wanted for the next decade of her life. Even after achieving her best year, she felt a sense of weariness and asked herself, 'Is it ever going to be enough?' This internal struggle led her to a brave decision- to step away from her role as a Sales Director and embark on a new journey. This journey led her to become a Gallup Certified CliftonStrengths Coach. Today, Sheri has crafted a life she loves, assisting other highly successful women to discover their 'what’s next' career. She is passionate about working with women who have achieved success making the money, but are now eager to make an impact by unleashing their God-given strengths and embracing their true calling!

When Sheri isn’t busy with her clients or recording a new podcast, she cherishes her time with her grandkids and embarks on exciting adventures with her husband. Their escapades often include the beach, biking, or out boats. At the end of a fulfilling day, they savor the beauty of the sunset with a cocktail in hand, a testament to Sheri's belief in enjoying life's journey.
