If you feel God nudging you toward a new path but fear is louder than your faith, or if you are waiting for a guarantee before you take the first step, this episode is for you.

Today, I am sharing a special message from my recent visioneering workshop for the Discovering Your Calling alumni. We explore three specific Bible stories that reveal a hard truth: often, the miracle only happens after you take the risky step.

I discuss why we often hesitate to act because we do not want to look foolish or fail. We look at the stories of Joshua and the Widow to see why obedience often defies logic, and why your “jar of oil” is already enough to start.

You’ll learn:

The “Flood Stage” Faith: Why you must step into the water before the river stops flowing (Joshua 3).

The “Jericho Strategy”: How to move forward even when the plan seems illogical or embarrassing to others.

The “Empty Jar” Lesson: Why you need to ask for help and use the resources you already have right now.

The Art of “Shutting the Door”: How to block out distractions to focus entirely on your assignment.

Reframing Success: Why God meets obedient action rather than waiting for perfect faith.

Sheri Miter Serial Entrepreneur

Sheri Miter is a serial entrepreneur. Her first business was selling painted rocks to neighbors when she was 7! This entrepreneurial spirit led her to many failures but also some huge successes, such as a Chimney Cleaning business with her husband Tom, a professional firefighter, and eventually a business as a Mary Kay sales director. While in Mary Kay, Sheri led her team to six-figure years multiple times, and YES, she drove the iconic pink Cadillac for part of her career!

Despite her success as a Sales Director in Mary Kay, Sheri found herself at a crossroads after 25 years. She began to question if this was the path she truly wanted for the next decade of her life. Even after achieving her best year, she felt a sense of weariness and asked herself, 'Is it ever going to be enough?' This internal struggle led her to a brave decision- to step away from her role as a Sales Director and embark on a new journey. This journey led her to become a Gallup Certified CliftonStrengths Coach. Today, Sheri has crafted a life she loves, assisting other highly successful women to discover their 'what’s next' career. She is passionate about working with women who have achieved success making the money, but are now eager to make an impact by unleashing their God-given strengths and embracing their true calling!

When Sheri isn’t busy with her clients or recording a new podcast, she cherishes her time with her grandkids and embarks on exciting adventures with her husband. Their escapades often include the beach, biking, or out boats. At the end of a fulfilling day, they savor the beauty of the sunset with a cocktail in hand, a testament to Sheri's belief in enjoying life's journey.
