The Innovators Behind AECorner Community | Everyday Adaptive

AECorner Community was founded by six innovators who each built an adaptive equipment product from a deeply personal experience.

* Janice Shokrian of Tausi Brands patented a specialized pillowcase after watching her father struggle in a Nursing home.
* Kathleen Quinn created Mobility Towel so her mother could dry herself after a bath despite Rheumatoid Arthritis.
* Diane Vitillo of The Original AFO Assist built an ankle foot orthosis tool because nothing existed on the market for her patients.
* Kerry Mellin founded EaZyHold after losing her grip strength and refusing to give up the hobbies that made her feel alive.
* Linda Merry and Celine Skertich co-founded Functional Hand by Thera-Solutions for children who needed one adaptable device instead of dozens of custom handles.

Together they built something bigger than any one product. AECorner Community is the home for everyone navigating adaptive equipment for daily living, built on three standards: dignity, independence, and comfort.

If you are a caregiver, a Family member, or someone living with a disability looking for trusted guidance on adaptive equipment, you found your community.
