Here are a few things to consider regarding safety in the main living area:
1. Wide, clear pathways
2. Remove or secure throw rugs, area rugs, and cords
3. Room is well-lit, light switches are accessible, and easily visible
4. Thresholds are in good shape and visible
5. Clear pathway to "comfy" chair
6. "Comfy" chair height is appropriate-too low, does it rock or swivel?
7. Command Central- having frequently used items easily and safely within reach: TV control, phone, light, drink
