His personal life has been marked by profound challenges and resilience. David lost his first wife, the mother of his five children, to ovarian Cancer. His second wife later succumbed to Alzheimer’s disease. He has also survived head and neck cancer himself. These experiences deeply inform his work on purpose, vitality, and aging well.
