An entire week of colorful, daily looks (even my Yogalates outfit) with some fun accessories or two. Although I was questioning if these were getting boring??
My emails are my way of sharing fun and positive content with you from all of the sites I visit during the week. Sure, you also get my free eBook when you sign up, but that’s not the best part.
The best part is you get a daily dose of positive energy.

SATURDAY
I thought I’d experiment with a color combination that isn’t my usual….purple and orange.
I saw this trick of using a scarf on a belt to create a statement bow and decided to try it. In the inspiration video, she used a belt loop, but luckily, my belt has these holes in it that were easy to use.
I Love my oversized, lightweight blouses in the summer (as discussed recently), and this time decided to wear it as a blazer (notice that I tucked the collar under).
Purple print mules (I got a great deal because they are a discontinued style…use code COMFY10 for anything on the site) and colorful earrings.
SUNDAY
I’ve been surprised at how much I love and wear this slip dress (of course, I showcased it 5 ways when I first bought it).
Today, I was going to layer one of my hand-knit tanks over it, when I realized I could origami it to be more interesting.
Here’s the video of what I did.
I wore my pink and orange heels and a bracelet by a local designer.

MONDAY
Yes, I’m cheating by wearing my Yogalates outfit all day, but I thought it was an interesting color combination and wanted to see how it played out.
Lilac and mustard seem to be opposites, meaning I think of lilac in the spring and mustard in the fall, yet I like them together.
In reality, I believe any two colors can play together, depending on the accents you bring in.
I wore easy-on/easy-off sandals for our workout class, and since I couldn’t wear a ton of accessories to class, I also wore a fun hair elastic, as well as small rings on every finger.
TUESDAY
I had a request from Sarah to style these star joggers in a “Tommy Hilfiger color palette, ready for a day of boating” after wearing them on Tues in this daily looks post.
Since it’s still darn hot outside, I wore a white linen t-shirt and accessorized with brooches at the neckline and a red and white headband (with a scarf rose at the top).
I added multi colored sandals for some subtle print mixing and red and turquoise bracelets.
BTW, notice that I cuffed the pants differently so you don’t see the white underneath.
The trick is to pull up the cuff really high and then fold the top down over it.
On a separate note, I did change out the brooches for a necklace + tassel after lunch (as seen in my email).

WEDNESDAY
I wanted to play around with the “charms and chains” on a vest again. But I wanted to use different items this time.
This time I grabbed my ivory and pink striped vest and this multi-strand aqua and pearl bead necklace.
I attached it through an upper button hole with my cardigan pin, and then the vest has a back cinching strap, so I attached the other end with the cardigan pin to that.
Then I used a brooch at the top and 2 clip-on earrings on the chain.
I wore my most favorite jean shorts (because they are loose and feel very hip). They are on sale, so I was thinking of getting another color because they will be perfect with tall boots.
White sandals and a wrist party completed the look.
THURSDAY
I had pulled out this lime green dress (which looks more yellow in the photo) and wanted to create an unusual color pairing with it.
The first thing I grabbed was this belt made from 2 men’s thrifted ties.
Then I layered this Halftee under it. I wasn’t sure the 2 necklines would work together, but I think it’s fine.
Insider tip: This style of Halftee is still available and available in 2 other colors. My code, Jtouch20, works on anything on the site.
I added my Betsey Johnson shoes and whimsical earrings, and I love how it turned out.

FRIDAY
Rob said I looked Hungarian…well, he wouldn’t be wrong.
Last week, we stopped by a local thrift store where I found this embroidered top along with a pair of track pants.
I may shorten the top…I haven’t decided, and at first I was going to wear it with a print skirt. But I changed gears and chose this red sweater skirt. Even though it’s sweater material, because it’s loose and flowy, it is great for summer.
I wore gold sandals, a gold chain belt, and colorful scarf in my hair.
