Hot summer outfits for our scorcher temperatures. Luckily, we spend most of the time inside with the AC.
My emails are my way to share fun and positive content with you from all of the sites I visit during the week. Sure, you also get my free eBook when you sign up, but that’s not the best part.
The best part is you get a daily dose of positive energy.

SATURDAY
I’ve worn this polo top with 6 different types of outfits in the past. But never with a leopard skirt.
I’ve decided that lime green seems to go with almost any and every color.
I used the brooch at the “v” of the polo shirt instead of at the waistband of the skirt.
And I decided to have fun with the neon yellow sandals instead of black ones.
SUNDAY
I wanted to wear this boxy top that I had worn in Puerto Rico (seen with my daytime looks). Instead of buttoning it the normal way, I origami-ed it to give it a different shape.
Then, to prevent it from moving around as much, I used one of my magnets that looks like a big, gold button.
I wore this over a bright blue dress with cutouts, which is tighter than I usually wear for church, so I added the top. But I loved the contrast of colors.
I wore my new black and gold sandals. Even though the background is black on them, I notice the gold more.
Big gold earrings and gold rings finish off the look.

MONDAY
I’m ready for our Yogalates class. I have my workout shorts under this Sandset blue dress (yes, it’s marketed as a dress, but as you’ve seen in my video, it’s way more than that…and more to come on the blog next week).
I’m wearing my sports bra and t-shirt for class, and these Croc sandals are easy to slip off.
My accessories are for before and after class. I used one of my rings as a scarf holder (the idea is in this video) and then added a bunch of bracelets.
And my Pair eyeglasses with blue toppers.
TUESDAY
I wanted to wear this embroidered tassel top (from my Fashom box in 2021 although they aren’t in business anymore) and decided to pair it with my cargo shorts. I looked back at our article with the cargo trend, and it looks like I usually cuff the shorts and wear them with bright colors.
Also, I paired my embroidered sandals with the look and then added turquoise accents.
The first time I saw red and turquoise together, I wasn’t sure I loved it. However, after living in Arizona with all the Native American jewelry, it appeals to me much more.
I even added a brooch at the “v” of my top, just because I can.

WEDNESDAY
I Love this Grecian-like top, but it’s the length that seems awkward for me. I tried a couple of different pairs of pants and skirts with it, and finally opted for a white mini skirt that has the same sort of pleats.
To make it more “Jodie”, I wore sandals in an entirely different color and fun statement earrings.
I also added a pearl necklace to the one shoulder side to add more decoration.
Do you know what my husband asked when I came out in this top? “Is that a skirt?” But no, this top came as a top.
FRIDAY
This has been my favorite skirt for thrifting lately. It’s flowy enough with structure to try on pants and other skirts underneath it without getting in the way.
Since we are going thrifting/shopping with Mireille and Cathie today, I didn’t wear lots of accessories. Therefore, I wore a mix of prints for something fun and interesting.
I’ve had this top for over 10 years, but it’s not one that I wear much.
And then comfy sandals for shopping, since it is our cardio for the day.

My goal with my daily looks post is to find things that help inspire you with my daily outfits and to bring a smile and kindness to your life. I truly think that clothing is our way to express our personality visually.
