by C J WaldronIn July of 1969, Los Angeles was in the grips of terror following a series of brutal murders. After an extensive investigation, those crimes were attributed to Charles Manson and his cult of followers. Their rationale for committing these horrendous crimes was that they wanted to ignite a race war where the Black community would rise up and murder their White oppressors.
Manson’s plan was to have he and his followers hide out in the California desert while the massacre of the white population took place. Once the Whites were eliminated, Charlie and his followers would emerge and take control, reasoning that the Blacks were too ignorant to govern themselves and would look to Manson for leadership.
They named this imagined race war Helter Skelter, after a song by the Beatles that they somehow reasoned was giving them the blueprint to start this uprising.
Manson’s followers numbered only a few dozen. Imagine if they had much larger numbers, say in the millions, with a mercurial leader egging them on and you have the MAGA cult. The murder of Charlie Kirk may be the impetus to launch the MAGA version of Helter Skelter, but instead of the entire white population, it would be those on the left who would be facing extermination.
Throughout history, there have been several “powder keg” events that resulted in launching some of the most intensely violent periods in our past. The assignation of Archduke Francis Fedinand was viewed at the starting point of World War I. The bombing of Pearl Harbor was the last straw into drawing America into the Second World War. And then there were the false flag events, such as the fire at the German Reichstag, which the Nazis used as a reason to persecute the Jewish population, resulting in the murder of millions.
Those on the right are already using Charlie Kirk’s murder as a reason to persecute anyone who speaks less than glowingly of Kirk’s accomplishments, or those who are using his own words to “smear his Legacy”. People are being fired from their jobs for posting negative comments on social media, which is essentially denying them their First Amendment rights. Secretary of Defense Peter Hegseth is vowing to punish any member of the military who makes a negative comment about Kirk,
They are using it to launch their own Helter Skelter.
Even before his body was cold, Donald Trump and his minions, both in and out of government, laid blame for his murder on the “radical left”. South Carolina Congresswoman Nancy Mace, in referring to the murder, declared “Democrats own what happened”. She said that the shooter should get the death penalty and blamed transgender ideology for the crime.
Her words were echoed by several right-wing lawmakers and amplified on right wing media outlets.
Even after it was revealed that the alleged shooter was a white male, whose Family is pro-MAGA, they continued with their accusations. They claimed we are a nation at war, not with some hostile foreign power, but from the enemy within. They assert that it was woke that caused Charlie Kirk’s death.
Yet it is entirely possible that the enemy within is buried in the MAGA movement itself. Right wing influencers Nick Fuentes and Lara Loomer are among those who believe that Charlie Kirk wasn’t sufficiently MAGA. They wanted more aggressive, and more violent, actions against Democrats like the QAnon conspiracy theory that, on Inauguration Day 2021, Trump and his followers would have risen up to take back the reigns of power and hold on-the-spot public executions of Democratic lawmakers, including President Biden, Vice President Harris and even Hillary Clinton.
They called it The Storm. Charles Manson called it Helter Skelter.
But what if there was an even darker motive behind the murder? What if the alleged shooter, Tyler Robinson, was also upset with the pace of Charlie Kirk’s movement? And what if the entire incident was a plot to prevent Kirk from becoming the heir to MAGA?
Donald Trump isn’t getting any younger. Rumors about his Health are becoming more rampant as the scarring on his hand and swelling of his ankles indicate a far more serious medical condition. His death would certainly result in a power struggle for control of the MAGA movement, and Charlie Kirk, with his legion of followers, was in a prime position to take the helm.
Could Tyler Robinson have been radicalized by these far-right elements into committing the crime? If so, we may see another Jack Ruby style execution, as we did when Ruby shot the alleged assassin of John F. Kennedy, before the truth is revealed. Like the unreleased Epstein files, we may never know the actual truth.
We may be facing our own Helter Skelter.
