Stronger Security for Customers and Your Business

Customers keep their credit cards in their own hands with pay-at-the-table technology. Instead of handing their card over, they tap, insert, or scan it directly on a wireless terminal. This process lowers the risk of fraud and lost cards.

Digital wallets like Apple Pay and Google Wallet make payments even easier. Customers don’t need to take out their card, making transactions faster and safer. Gen Z and Millennials prefer this seamless approach.

Faster Service, Quicker Payments, More Table Turns

When servers take both orders and payments at the table, they serve customers more efficiently:

  • No more running back and forth to a stationary POS
  • Guests pay immediately after finishing their meal
  • Tables turn faster, keeping peak hours manageable

This streamlined process boosts revenue while creating a smoother dining experience.

Bigger Tips and No Chargeback Issues

Many restaurant owners don’t realize that when a card gets authorized, card brands typically allow only a 20 percent tip buffer. That means:

  • A $100 bill might only authorize $120
  • If a guest leaves a $35 tip, $15 could be at risk for a chargeback

Pay-at-the-table technology prevents this issue. Customers enter tips upfront, which ensures:

  • Full authorization for the total amount—$135 in this example
  • No tip disputes or chargeback risks
  • Increased tip amounts, since customers tend to tip more when paying at the table

Appeal to the Digital Wallet Generation

Younger customers rarely carry cash or physical wallets. They rely on:

  • Apple Pay
  • Google Wallet
  • Tap-to-pay credit and debit cards

Pay-at-the-table devices accept all of these payment methods. When you offer this flexibility, you stay relevant and attract more tech-savvy customers.

Later going to Culinary School in Atlanta and being a Chef, then Executive Chef for Metro Hotels in Dallas, Texas running food and beverage operations in Hotels.
