Toxic Leadership, Army Lessons & Green Beret Stories | This Week on The MisFitNation

Leadership, resilience, and second chances defined another incredible week on The MisFitNation and The ToosDay Crüe.

⚓ Sunday – The MisFitNation welcomed U.S. Navy Veteran Mr. Whiskey

Rich LaMonica sat down with Mr. Whiskey for one of the most honest conversations we’ve had.

Joining the Navy at just 17, he expected brotherhood, purpose, and leadership. Instead, he encountered toxic leadership, addiction, corruption, Burnout, suicide, and the hidden Mental Health struggles too many service members face.

But he refused to let those experiences define him.

Today, Mr. Whiskey is using podcasting, comedy, mentoring, and veteran advocacy to help others heal and realize they are never alone.

A conversation that was raw, real, and incredibly important.

🇺🇸 Tuesday – The ToosDay Crüe welcomed Brandon Burton

Stephen LaMonica absolutely knocked it out of the park hosting U.S. Army Veteran Brandon Burton.

After serving 20 years in the Army, including two deployments to Afghanistan, seven years training soldiers, and leading as a Company Commander, Brandon shared the leadership lessons that only experience can teach.

Together they discussed:

🔥 Leadership without control

🔥 Humility in command

🔥 Family after military service

🔥 Trauma, healing, and Growth

An outstanding conversation about becoming a better leader by becoming a better human being.

🪖 Thursday – The MisFitNation welcomed Alex Dekker

Rich closed out the week with U.S. Army Special Forces Veteran and author Alex Dekker.

After nearly two decades serving in Special Operations, Alex discussed his transition from elite military service to becoming the author of Desert Heist.
