Daily Looks: Week Ending 7.10.26

It was a whirlwind week, with my stepmom, Nancy (one of the original crew members from Denver), taking a downward spiral in the hospital and passing away. Not the usual week of outfits, but here they are.

My emails are my way of sharing fun, positive content with you from all of the sites I visit during the week. Sure, you also get my free eBook when you sign up, but that’s not the best part.
The best part is you get a daily dose of positive energy.

SATURDAY

This was my flying outfit since we had to go out earlier to Florida to see my stepmom, as she was not doing well in the hospital.

I was having a hard time just thinking about packing, so I grabbed this, knowing it had already been a great travel outfit from back in 2020.

The dress is really sleeveless, I just wear a t-shirt under it so I can wear it both to and from our destination.

I wore my sparkle lilac sneakers and took the same yellow leather jacket and turquoise pashmina that I had travelled with originally in 2020.

SUNDAY

Today was “hanging out at the hospital with Nancy” day. I had just gotten this skirt with my Banana Republic gift card that I had won, so I packed it.

I wore it with this sheer green top and a Halftee under it (code Jtouch20 for a discount). Then my gold Mary Janes.

Yellow leather jacket in hand because you know how chilly it is in institutions.

MONDAY

Since Nancy passed away early this morning, we were just hanging out today. I brought this skort and t-shirt in case we could take a walk in the morning.

I accessorized with 3 different necklaces and wore my sneakers again.

TUESDAY

We had another day to hang out in Florida. The plan is to hang with the Florida Family and start cleaning out Nancy’s place.

I wore the things I just thrifted yesterday (since I hadn’t really brought the right things…go figure).

The bright pink pants remind me of the pair I found in Sedona years ago.
And then how could I pass up this Mickey t-shirt?

I wore the other pair of footwear that I brought and clear earrings.

WEDNESDAY

I usually wear the same basic outfit to and from the airport, but I wore Saturday’s clothes for almost 48 hours since we flew overnight and then went straight to the hospital. And things don’t dry out here with the humidity.

So I wore this Halston slip skirt that I found thrifting. I couldn’t sell it because there was no size or material label, but it fits great (yes, it’s a bit wrinkled…sorry).

I paired it with this colorful top (worn with a matching skirt back for Mother’s Day in 2020).

My gold Mary Janes and much of my stepmom’s gold jewelry as the finishing touches.

THURSDAY

We made it home safe and sound.

I know I wore this skirt earlier this week, but it was just easier to take this outfit out of my luggage…that’s why the skirt’s a tad wrinkly.

I “cropped” the red mesh shirt. You’ve seen me wear it half tucked with red capris.
Today, I pulled the sides to the front and used one of my stepmom’s brooches to hold it in place.

I also tucked the hoodie ties around the back of my neck under the hood to hide them, and used another of Nancy’s brooches as a “necklace.”

I wore my cognac sandals and straw earrings.

FRIDAY

I received another box from Planet G clothing, and I had chosen this dress. It’s not as expensive as many of their other items.

And when I saw this necklace on their site, I thought it would be perfect because it’s lightweight yet very bold.

Planet G discount: JODIEFILOGOMO

I wore the dress with these multi colored sandals and this scarf around my waist.
I held the scarf in place with a brooch (so it wouldn’t be so bulky).

Colorful earrings and black bracelets for the finishing touches.
