  1. From Soldier to Servant: Jack Hager’s Journey from Addiction, Prison & Redemption to Ministry Raise the Roof Productions 1:41:06

In this powerful episode of Coffee Talk with Bryan & Marie, we sit down with Jack Hager — a man whose life story embodies transformation, grace, and purpose. Born into a military Family, Jack traveled the world before enlisting in the U.S. Army, serving tours in Korea, Germany, and Vietnam. But after his honorable discharge, life took a dark turn — addiction, crime, and prison.

Behind bars in 1973, Jack encountered the Gospel for the first time and surrendered his life to Christ. That moment changed everything. Since 1974, he’s dedicated his life to ministry, speaking in schools, prisons, churches, and camps across the country — challenging people to take responsibility for their choices and embrace the hope of redemption.

Jack’s story spans decades of service:

  • Over 1,400 school assemblies inspiring youth toward accountability

  • Preaching in 200+ prisons and jails

  • Hosting a live radio program for 8 years on the Family Life Network

  • Serving with Kansas City Youth for Christ, Headwaters Christian Youth, and Truth Impact Ministries

Even after being diagnosed with multiple myeloma and kidney disease in 2023, Jack continues to minister, declaring, “God remains good, ALL the time.”
