I was thinking of wearing red, white, and blue all week for the upcoming holiday. It wasn’t perfect, but it’s the thought that counts.
My emails are my way of sharing fun, positive content with you from all the sites I visit during the week. Sure, you also get my free eBook when you sign up, but that’s not the best part.
The best part is you get a daily dose of positive energy.

SATURDAY
We are off thrifting and running errands today, so I wore my linen blend shirt dress.
Instead of wearing the self-belt, I added a scarf (from Just Be Youtiful) around my waist.
And then my colorful socks (from Sock Candy) and sneakers (from UIN).
With colorful glasses and earrings, I think I made this dress look more like me.
SUNDAY
Our church is super chilly right now, so I layered this sleeveless velvet dress over this sheer tunic (worn back in 2016).
The velvet dress was worn in the colder season back in 2019.
The dress is actually on backwards, and I used the brooch to hold the ties to the side at the neckline.
I put on my star sneakers, but they looked naked without socks, so I thought these Sock Candy socks were perfect with the dress.

MONDAY
I had to get this star t-shirt since it was on the $2 rack, and I thought that the print mixed wonderfully with this thrifted skirt.
I’m going to the Salvation Army bins today, so both are comfy and stretchy.
I “cropped” the top by creating a wrap style with the shirt’s ends instead of tucking or knotting them.
Then I added comfy shoes for the shopping experience and fun earrings.
TUESDAY
We did go to Yogalates today, but I changed in the afternoon for an event in Scottsdale.
I did wear my sports bra with this dress, since it was a burgundy strappy one and looked good under it.
I added a red belt, tan sandals, and gold jewelry.

WEDNESDAY
Today is a post op appointment for my husband, so I thought a blazer was in order. This is the customizable blazer from Talethreads (a company similar to eShakti that I reviewed here and here).
I wore the blazer over this polka-dot denim top (seen here, but I had my mom cut off the sleeves so it’s a tank top now).
The red shorts were thrifted, and I added a brooch at the waist.
These sandals have been a huge favorite, and even though they seem high, it’s the platform, not the incline.
Not available on DSW anymore, but I found a pair on Poshmark if you’re interested.
THURSDAY
We are thrifting and running errands today, so a fun outfit was in order.
This gauzy skirt is from Just Be Youtiful, and I wear it loads. I even wore it as my Travel outfit when we went to Puerto Rico.
And you’ve seen this sweatshirt tank top when we discussed hot weather outfits.
I added red accents with my shoes, a brooch at the waist, and my earrings.
Plus, I wore earrings on my shirt…they look like brooches. These are earrings that are too heavy to wear on my ears.
Stylist tip: Use at least 2 of the clear earring backs, so the post doesn’t stick you.

FRIDAY
No red, white, and blue today because there was a change of plans, and we have to jump on a plane tonight to see Nancy in the hospital in Florida.
I didn’t want to have to think about my outfit, so I copied my airplane look from the first time I decided that a dress is the easiest to travel in.
I am taking the same leather jacket and turquoise pashmina, but I wore these lilac sparkle sneakers and different earrings.
My goal with my daily looks post is to find things that help inspire you with my daily outfits and to bring a smile and kindness to your life. I truly think clothing is our way to express our personality visually.
