It’s easy to look at someone’s success and say, “They got lucky.”
What’s harder is seeing the early mornings.
The sacrifices.
The setbacks.
The years of showing up when nobody was watching.
When we label someone’s success as luck, we often ignore the work that made it possible.
And sometimes, if we’re honest, calling it luck protects us from asking a tougher question:
What would happen if I committed to my goals with that same level of consistency?
The truth is, most success stories aren’t built on luck.
They’re built on intentional choices repeated over and over again.
So instead of saying, “Must be nice,” try asking:
“What did you do to get there?”
That question can change everything.
