What began as learning alongside her children became a courageous leap into teaching, even as she wrestled with comparison, insecurity, and the fear that she was not qualified.
A mentor’s simple reminder changed her direction: she was already a musician. From that moment, Bernadette stopped measuring herself against maestros and began pouring her heart into students and families. Twenty-six years later, she has taught hundreds of students, built a successful Bay Area piano studio, mentored teachers, authored A World Where Everyone Plays, and created space for music to become a lifelong friend to children and adults alike.
