We’ve been celebrating the cooler mornings because we realize it won’t be the case for long. My daily look photos are usually taken in the morning, so a couple of days I had to add a jacket for our breakfast on the patio. Shocking, I know.
My emails are my way of sharing fun, positive content with you from all of the sites I visit during the week. Sure, you also get my free eBook when you sign up, but that’s not the best part.
The best part is that you get a daily dose of positive energy.

SATURDAY
I had this green and orange vest on my valet rod and decided to wear it over my slip dress. I styled this same slip dress in many ways when I first bought it.
To shorten the vest a bit, I added this metallic obi belt.
The belt also adds a bit of edginess to the overall look. (I created a rose with the ties after I took this photo), as seen in my email.
Instead of cute kitten heels or something sweet, I wore these multi-animal print sandals (especially because we will be thrifting/sourcing today).
Insider shopping: These are the Candice sandals from The Comfort Company. Use code JODIEFILOGOMOAFF, for a discount.
I did decorate the belt and wore cactus earrings and a leopard bracelet.
SUNDAY
Another dress with a layer. This little cropped wrap top, which I bought on Poshmark years ago. At first, I never wore it, because I considered it a top.
However, now that I think of it as a topper…it has more versatility.
The dress is a bit big, so I used the flower pin to ruche it in the front.
The shoes don’t “go” with the vibe of the dress, and that’s exactly why I chose them.
They add that dichotomy that I crave.
BTW, I adore these socks because they add a little sass but also absorb the sweat of my feet.
I bought mine at Just Be Youtiful, but they are also on Amazon.

MONDAY
These are the green pants I found when sourcing, and I couldn’t pass them up for myself.
I styled them with this pink peplum top, and while it’s not the best proportion (half and half), I still like it.
I wore my multi colored sneakers and covered the buttons on the top with button covers. (Mine were found at Just Be Youtiful, but there are many on Amazon).
I also layered 2 bracelets and wore sparkly earrings.
It was cool enough this morning that I added a cropped denim jacket, and I really liked how it was short enough that the peplum hung outside, adding another tier.
However, I do have this top on the alterations pile to shorten it about 2 inches.
TUESDAY
We are off to Yogalates and then errands, so I “dressed up” my workout look.
I added these faux leather shorts and decorated the belt buckle.
Then I wore these mules (seen years ago for a fall look).
Then I added these bright flower earrings (only $5 on Amazon) to copy the pink in my leggings.

WEDNESDAY
We have a lunch date for my last “new restaurant” for my New 60 challenge.
And because it’s a date…I wore a fun dress. This one is from eShakti back when they were in business.
Luckily, there is a company that is trying the same concept that I reviewed recently (and hope we can support enough to keep it in business).
I wore my obi belt (found here) and cognac sandals along with a necklace given to me after my friend passed away.
Of course, it’s no surprise that I decorated my belt with a clip-on earring.
And this fur-trimmed sephia dyed jacket is from Just Be Youtiful.
FRIDAY
I was helping out with a fashion show for Just Be Youtiful, so I wanted to wear something from her boutique.
I don’t know if I’ve ever talked about it, but her prices are not normal “boutique” prices. They are very budget-oriented because she cares more about women feeling beautiful.
This “dress” is fun with the ruffles and lace cap sleeves, but I really consider it a tunic. Therefore, I layered another skirt under it.
Then I added turquoise with my shoes, belt, glasses, and earrings.
The funny thing is, this belt is really a belt I accessorized with a flower pin in the middle of the buckle, PLUS a brooch in the middle of that.
Did you notice the brooches down the front of the dress? Gap deterrant.
