Married for 56 years, Madge and Steph share how a blood disorder doctor first spotted husband Steph’s Parkinson’s — and the shock of facing a disease that couldn’t be fixed with a pill or surgery.

Dr. Siebens is a Harvard-trained physician and expert in geriatrics and rehabilitation who has spent her career caring for older adults with complex conditions including Parkinson’s disease. Her research focuses on Exercise, Parkinson’s care management, and improving communication between patients, families, and medical teams.

Parkinson’s Today was presented by the Michael J. Fox Foundation and Parkinson’s Resource Organization (PRO) in 2026.

Jo is the founder and President of Parkinson’s Resource Organization (PRO) established in 1990. The motivation, her late mother and late husband were both diagnosed with Parkinson’s. Each day, PRO reaches thousands of people affected by Parkinson’s, accomplished through a monthly newsletter, an interactive website, one-on-one coaching, support groups, symposia, and public speaking. Ms. Rosen is always at the forefront of what matters in Parkinson’s from services, products, and research, to the potential cure.
