April’s weather has turned back to its normal, and we are having chillier mornings again.
My emails are my way to share fun and positive content with you from all of the sites I visit during the week. Sure, you also get my free eBook when you sign up, but that’s not the best part.
The best part is you get a daily dose of positive energy.

SATURDAY
We are off to the cat cafe today for part of my New Adventures at 60. So I grabbed all of my “cat” items to wear today.
I have these fun flats (worn last week too), this purse, along with the brooch holding my neckscarf in place, and these earrings. (you can see the close-up in the title photo).
It was warm today, but I figured I may be sitting on the ground (I’m not sure what it’s like at a cat cafe), so I wore these star jeans that are really like very light sweatshirt material (found at Just Be Youtiful).
Then I added this bright pink balloon top because it’s flowy.
SUNDAY
Hey look…I wore pants 2 days in a row, LOL.
I had to try these out. I just painted the polka dots on them and wanted to see how they worked (they are not perfect…there are a couple of smudges on the back, but hey…they are perfectly imperfect just like me).
Here were my ideas of what to wear with these pants when I first bought them.
I definitely wanted to wear my new sandals since I finally painted my toenails.
And then I wore this silk top that my mom even borrowed once (notice the sleeve length, normally).
Today I pulled up the sleeves using my cardigan pins since we were going out to lunch with friends and I didn’t want them in my food.

MONDAY
We are off to Yogalates, and I was wearing these leggings shorts, and then just layered a skirt (that almost matches perfectly) over top.
This skirt is the dress I received from UnTuckIt, which was too small in the chest, so I cut it into a skirt and made the top into a cardigan.
I decided to wear a fun t-shirt instead of a “workout t-shirt,” and this cactus one is one of my faves.
I added striped mules, so I’m a full head to toe in print mixing. Heck, there’s even a polka dot scarf in my ponytail.
TUESDAY
I feel like I haven’t worn this green dress in ages. It was part of a collaboration with Chicos back in 2022.
I “Jodiefied it” by adding a scarf at the waist and 3 different clip-on earrings and brooches at the neckline.
Then I wore my sheer socks as well as my newly DIYed polka dot sneakers (did you see my FB video on how I created them?).

WEDNESDAY
I wouldn’t have put this outfit together except I’m joining a group of ladies on IG with 5 florals, so I put them all together in one look.
The pants are from Just Be Youtiful, and I Love how flowy they are.
The top is a hand-me-down from a neighbor.
The jacket is a hand-me-down from a friend.
Then the shoes and earrings count as part of my floral items also.
Personally, I think I would like it better if I had a black and cream floral top…this one is navy. But I consider each new outfit a learning tool.
WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON
I didn’t wear the above look when I went out shopping…heels and all. So I left the pants on and changed up the rest.
This orange top was hanging on my valet rod, and I loved the contrast with the pants.
Then I had to try out my newest comfortable sandals from a company called “The Comfort Co”…see the details in my FB video with the 2 options I chose.
I wore them shopping for half the day, and they are a thumbs up.
Discount: Use code JODIEFILOGOMOAFF on the website.
The denim jacket was needed because we had a chilly day (it’s from Just Be Youtiful…that trim just called my name).
I layered 2 necklaces with the top (1 of them is this gold coin from my dad when he worked at the Denver Mint back in the 80’s-90’s)

FRIDAY
As I said when I bought these jeans…I just love how different they are, and I’m wearing them tons since they were a tad more than I usually spend (still not crazy expensive, but more than thrifted jeans).
And since it was a bit chillier today, I layered an orange/pink sheer top under my red and white gingham one.
To tie it all together, I used a flower brooch at my waist (from Just Be Youtiful) and then wore these cowboy mules from over 14 years ago.
BTW, I’ve never worn a top tucked into these jeans. You can see the 3 other ways I’ve worn them.
