Butterfly Goo: Why Real Transformation Gets Messy-Rachel Burr, Author

  1. Butterfly Goo: Why Real Transformation Gets Messy-Rachel Burr, Author Host Kim Lengling 33:31

What if transformation isn’t meant to be pretty?

In this episode, I sit down with executive coach and author Rachel Burr to discuss her bold, refreshingly honest new book, Butterfly Goo: The Down-and-Dirty Truth of Transformation. Instead of chasing the polished “glow-up,” Rachel challenges us to embrace the messy, uncomfortable middle, the “goo” stage, where real Growth actually happens.

With more than 20 years of experience guiding leaders and professionals, Rachel blends humor, personal stories, and practical exercises to help us navigate change with authenticity and courage. We talk about leadership, identity, breaking free from expectations, and why falling apart can sometimes be the first step to becoming something stronger.

If you’re in the middle of a transition, feeling stuck, or leading others through change, this conversation will remind you that the mess isn’t failure, it’s transformation in motion.

Watch, listen, and don’t forget to subscribe for more conversations that help you let fear bounce and step into your next chapter.
