WACO, Texas (FOX 44) — Central Texas will be hosting a major conference this coming summer, when volunteers from all over the nation will converge upon Waco for the National Caregiver Network Conference.

Friends For Life, a Waco nonprofit that provides services and support for seniors and people with disabilities, is the co-host for the conference which will be held June 11th – June 13th (2026) at the AC Hotel in downtown Waco.

Friends For Life Executive Director Inez Russell (who is also the 2025 Central Texas Remarkable Woman of the Year) and Friends For Life Volunteer Christine Smith joined our Vince Erickson for an in-studio conversation about the conference and what it will be all about.
