Daily Outfits: Week Ending 2.6.26

I Love the days that it’s cool enough to layer, but still warm enough that I don’t have to layer crazily.

My emails are my way of sharing fun and positive content with you from all of the sites I visit during the week. Sure, you also get my free eBook when you sign up, but that’s not the best part.
The best part is you get a daily dose of positive energy.

SATURDAY

We are off to a Retirement party, and I wanted to wear one of my hand-knit sweaters.

So I pulled out this one (last seen ages ago in 2014 on the blog) and wore it over a navy blouse.

Then I wore my silver cowboy booties with navy sheer socks and my navy barrettes on the side.

I wore a brooch at the neckline and clear earrings since I had used my heatless curlers (did you read about them ?)

This skirt was featured recently, having fun hiding other skirts under it.

SUNDAY

Rob called this my chic Dr. Suess outfit…in a good way, he said, LOL.

We were off to the airport to drop off my stepmom, and then the day was full of blogging and cleaning.

I started this look with the chevron-striped “dress”. I put it in quotes because it’s really more like a tunic. I’ve worn it with red jeans in the past.

I wanted to print mix with it, so I grabbed these yellow print pants from Chico’s ages ago (and yes, they shrank in the dryer).

Then I layered this long trench vest (from 2016) over it and added yellow booties (still available on Amazon if you are my size).

I added my knitted wristlets, a long gold necklace, a cardigan pin to make my tunic asymmetrical, and gold heart earrings.

MONDAY

Obviously, we are off to Yogalates this morning as I’m wearing my workout leggings, t-shirt, and sweatshirt cardigan.

I threw on this plaid skirt (worn last fall with socks and heels).

We take our shoes off during class, so I threw on these multicolored sneakers (still available at DSW) just because they had some of the same colors in them as the leggings.

TUESDAY

The skirt is the bottom part of the dress I cut in half a couple of months back (you can see it styled with the “cardigan” in this Daily Outfit post on Tuesday).

I wore it with a lightweight sweater (and I usually wear a t-shirt underneath, so I don’t have to wash the sweater).

I added a scarf at my waist and my feather pin/clip, along with pink boots.

A woman at Sam’s club called my look “dramatic.”

WEDNESDAY

I just finished knitting this poncho. The trim is from our fabric store outing a couple of years ago, when I found the best home decor fabrics like tassels and even this architectural piece (on Sunday) that I turned into a belt.

I decided to wear it with my black shorts and print hosiery. I added these tweed shoes (worn back in 2016) that I’ve had for ages. I don’t wear them often, but I still love them.

The “brooches” on my poncho are actually earrings I recently bought. However, they ended up being too heavy for my ears, so I decided to think of them as “pins.”

FRIDAY

I’m helping out at a Just Be Youtiful fashion show, so my thoughts on getting dressed are different than a normal day.

First off, I try to wear clothing from the boutique.

And second, I’m usually showing how to origami or change up a clothing item, so I need either form-fitting items or layers.

Today, I have both. This tan shirtdress (worn with purple in the past) is a great example of how I can wear a dress in many ways.
I wore it over faux leather leggings and a black tee, along with black cowboy booties (thanks, Valerie).

Then I added color with my belt, scarf, and earrings.
