Daily Looks: Week Ending 1.16.2026

While this is “winter”, our weather has been wonderfully warm. It’s cool enough in the mornings to dress for winter, but then it warms up, making us happy we are living in AZ.

My emails are my way of sharing fun and positive content with you from all of the sites I visit during the week. Sure, you also get my free eBook when you sign up, but that’s not the best part.
The best part is you get a daily dose of positive energy.

SATURDAY

Yep…it’s a lot, but with all the craziness of last week, I needed some extra-ness.

This outfit is inspired by a photo sent to me by a friend. While I’ve worn this same skirt as a top before (see transformed into 4 different clothing items), I never thought to layer it over another blouse.

Insider tip: That’s the advantage of social media and such, if you follow and check out new accounts, because it can open your mind to new possibilities.

I cinched in the top (skirt) with my obi belt found on Etsy, and decorated it with a clip-on earring.

I even added in my knitted wristlets for more fun and giggles.

SUNDAY

2 dresses layered. We’ve talked about this before, and I loved the concept so much that I played in my closet yesterday to come up with some options.

The blue dress is a cutout dress, and the print dress has been worn on our Alaskan cruise with other types of layering.

I pinned one side of the dress hem up. You wouldn’t need to, but I was experimenting.

I added this fun brooch at the waistline and then wore pink knee socks with my pink boots.

MONDAY

My workout outfit is under this…the camo/jeans/sweatpants are covering my leggings, and you can see the t-shirt.

This cropped sweatcardigan was a fabulous thrifted find, but one could always cut off a longer one.

I’m wearing my Ros olive green booties, I bought on extreme clearance over 4-5 months ago. The scarf hanging from the belt loop is actually a hair scrunchie.

TUESDAY

Another experiment with layering dresses, as I did on Sunday.

This is my rust sweater dress (worn on our Mediterranean cruise) under a thrifted, cutout, darker rust dress.

I ruched the waist with a brooch, and then used a cardigan pin to pull up the outerlayer.

Then I pinned a bracelet from the cut-out part.

Huge statement earrings and my sexy snakeskin boots to finish off the look.

WEDNESDAY

Dog training today, so a perfect opportunity to wear my new wrap jeans.

And I don’t know if you remember this 3-D blouse (worn on Sunday in this Daily Outfit post). I found it on Anthro’s sale tab on their rental site. I decided to wear it backwards so the zipper is in front. I had it unzipped at first, but then decided to zip it partway.

UNDER it is my latest handknit creation (worn on Wednesday in this Daily Outfit post). Even though it’s a cardigan, I thought it would be fun under another top.

These suede mules I’ve had for 15 years. I think they look better with jeans, but I have worn them with a dress a long time ago.

Gold necklace and earrings for the cherry on top.

FRIDAY

I Love the idea of wearing a jacket like a top, and adding two belts really tickles my fancy.

You’ll see this again in my ’60 New Outfits’ series, inspired by a street style photo.

The fringe skirt I DIYed (as showcased years ago), and I layered the jean jacket over my heart blouse.

Then I wore a black belt and a red plaid belt along with these booties my cousin gave me years ago.

There are brooches on each collar (seen better in the top photo), and I added my heart earrings.
