Since it was my birthday week, it was full of events and thus, fun outfits…at least I thought they were fun.
My emails are my way to share fun and positive content with you from all of the sites I visit during the week. Sure, you also get my free eBook when you sign up, but that’s not the best part.
The best part is you get a daily dose of positive energy.

SATURDAY
Today was our Segway tour of Scottsdale, so I needed sneakers as well as something to cover my arms from the sun, but not too hot because the weather was ideally warm.
The heart sweater that I just won in a giveaway came lickety split, so Rob and I wore them. It’s very lightweight and was perfect for the day (but it wouldn’t be good for those of you in snowy conditions if you wanted a thick sweater). I layered it over my plaid short-sleeve blouse.
Then I wore my light-wash cargo jeans and my newest sneakers (bought with my DSW birthday rewards).
SUNDAY
I’m trying out a styling service, and they put together a similar outfit, which I liked but thought it was a bit tame.
However, I knew I could “Jodiefy” it, and this is one way.
The fringe skirt was thrifted years ago. And the Cabi sweater too (I’ve worn it zipped up over a dress back in 2017).
The length of this sweater could be harder to style since it ends at the “frump line” (as described here) so pairing it with a skirt of the same color can make it look like a dress. Sorta.
I added my tall green cowboy boots (for less than $15…use code Comfy10),
But let’s talk about my neck candy. First off, Mireille sent me this scarf decorated with shoes for my birthday. AND then, I wove it through this incredible necklace from Just Be Youtiful (see the 6 min. live video about it on FB)

MONDAY AM
Yes, this is my Yogalates outfit with a skirt thrown over it.
You may think you’re too old for mini skirts, but these are great for throwing over your leggings (or for shortening a longer skirt, like I did in this video…the 3rd option).
I created a knot for my sweatshirt and made it more of a rosette than a tail (as seen in this TT video)
And thanks to Valerie for these booties she liked but couldn’t wear…I Love them, and they are easy to slip on and off for our workout class.
Yes, I’m wearing a tiara…hey, it’s my birthday, so why not?
In the title photo, there’s a close-up including the beautiful ring that my hubby bought me for my birthday from Just Be Youtiful.
MONDAY PM
We were going to a “new” restaurant for my birthday celebration, so of course, I had to get all dolled up.
I don’t usually “buy” a new dress for an event, but my friend, Cathie…her daughter was reselling this dress, and I thought it was so cute.
Since it was strapless and a tad big, I wore it over a sequin top. I wore this sequin top for an art gallery opening…this time I turned it backwards so that the keyhole wouldn’t be noticeable.
I also added my feather pin in the middle and wore my white cowboy boots. And these fabulous earrings that say “BDAY QUEEN.”

TUESDAY
While you wouldn’t wear this crochet tank top alone during the winter, I thought it would be fun to layer it over a dress.
You’ve seen this dress as one of my cruise items because it can be worn in many ways.
I paired it with my colorful sneakers (still available at DSW) and orange sheer socks (still available at Old Navy).
WEDNESDAY
We have a dog training class today, so it’s easier to wear pants for it.
I grabbed this sweatshirt that I’ve had for over 10 years…it has pieces of plastic glued to the fleece and always looks so Christmassy to me.
You saw a close-up of it in the email with my necklace mess.
I wore my brown pants from Chicos, which are still available and half price.
Then I wanted shoes that didn’t match, so I grabbed these kitty flats from Vivaia.
Yes, I purposely wore 2 different earrings…the balls matched so well, and the beaded dress was made by Kris (she joined me 2 yrs ago with how to style bright colors).

THURSDAY
I wanted to change it up, so I pulled out these faux leather shorts. I hadn’t worn these purple tights in ages (worn back in 2019 where you can see a cool close-up of them).
I pulled out this handknit sweater…it was one of my first knitted sweaters (maybe my 2nd or 3rd) and embellished the buttons by pinning a brooch over each.
Then I added my silver Cariuma sneakers (that are thankfully much more comfy now that I’ve worn them a couple of times) WITH the silver metallic laces I just purchased on Etsy.
