Do you ever wonder what I’m smiling at when I take a selfie?? I ask Google to take a selfie, and he’s been responding with different comments…they make me laugh.
My emails are my way to share fun and positive content with you from all of the sites I visit during the week. Sure, you also get my free eBook when you sign up, but that’s not the best part.
The best part is you get a daily dose of positive energy.

SATURDAY
I thought it was funny how my photo popped up from 3 yrs ago and I was wearing this same micro sweater (not the tank)…so I included that in the email.
I paired the brown sweater set with my orchid corduroy pants. Loft has these same pants on sale, just not in this color anymore.
I added a bunch of preloved brooches on the sweater and then tied a sequin skinny scarf on my belt loop.
I wore my fur brown flats (only $15, use code COMFY10) with a pair of brown bow socks I just found on Etsy.
SUNDAY
This is a summer dress…loosey, goosey, and very whimsical. Something I would have NEVER worn in my past (because, as I shared in this article, it doesn’t make me look thinner).
So I decided to try it out for winter. I layered this very warm and soft layering tee under it, along with black tights. Yes, you can wear navy and black together. I’m wearing them with black booties (thanks to Valerie, who gave them to me because they didn’t fit her right).
Black, navy, and on top of that, brown with my belt and bracelets. It’s a mix-match of neutrals, and I like it.
BTW, this obi belt was found on Etsy and is super soft.

MONDAY
This is my Yogalates outfit, and then we are running errands.
So my teal workout leggings are acting as tights with my favorite thrifting skirt (the shape makes it easy to try on things under it).
The navy top is from yesterday, acting as a sweatshirt over my sports bra.
The scarf for warmth this morning, and my silver booties that are easy to take on and off.
TUESDAY
Yes, Rob told me I looked like an astronaut.
But hey, when you have silver jeans and a silver vest, why not wear them together?
I have this green plaid waffle shirt and used a bow barette (from Just Be Youtiful) instead of a belt.
Insider tip: Barettes can be an accessory for more than your hair…see this FB video for proof.
Then I wore green Cariuma sneakers with green earrings and accessories.

WEDNESDAY
Rob was NOT a fan of this “skirt,” but the addition of the buttons makes it better for him.
I still think it needs something…maybe elastic in the back?
Hmmmm…I’m not sure. It’s truly a work in progress, I guess.
If you missed my IG stories, this was leftover material from a comforter that I shortened for a friend, so I thought, why not make it into a skirt (because isn’t that what everyone does, LOL?)
Then, to trim the cut surfaces, I found this yarn trim that I’ve had for AGES. I sewed that on, and right now I only attach it with safety pins…I might change that feature.
Anyways, I layered it over my green dress (seen worn for Mardi Gras), kitty Vivaia flats, and embroidered beret (from Just Be Youtiful).
Oh, the pin at the “v” of my top is a barette.

Happy Thanksgiving
The outfit is new because I found this fabulous top at Just Be Youtiful (she has more) and the camo pants I found thrifting on Monday. I removed the elastic at the bottom of the joggers and made them into straight-leg pants.
I added a chain belt at the peplum and created a scarf/pearl necklace (here’s the video on that idea).
The peep-toe shoes are super old, but I thought they added a little umph and glam to the camo pants.
The morning was a bit chilly, so I added my wrist warmers (seen in the top photo) that I had created from an old hand-knit pair of socks.
FRIDAY
After seeing that similar sweater on BR for $500, I figured it was a sign to pull mine out.
I had so many suggestions about styling this bow barette on my TT video that I decided to show ways to use it as a closure.
And for my daily look, I even added a brooch to the middle to give it sparkle.
(BTW, these barettes are available at Just Be Youtiful…make sure to buy 2 if you want to decorate your boots.)
For today, I matched my socks (found on Etsy) to my pants and wore my newest Cariuma sneakers…shiny silver.
Insider tip: Right now, I wouldn’t recommend the sneakers because they are stiff. I’m going to try to make them more pliable…
