Daily Looks: Week Ending 10.3.25

While many outfits are for a day of hanging around the house, I believe that’s the best time to try out new outfits. Then you have ideas for the “real” outings.
My theory is that if you wait until the event to figure out what goes with what, you get frustrated, upset, and return to your old same ole, same ole.
At least that’s my rationale for putting together “over the top” outfits when we aren’t going anywhere.

My emails are my way to share fun and positive content with you from all of the sites I visit during the week. Sure, you also get my free eBook when you sign up, but that’s not the best part.
The best part is you get a daily dose of positive energy.

SATURDAY

I had this blue and white print peplum top hanging on my valet rod, along with this knitted vest that I made maybe last year.

I’ve worn the peplum top years ago to prove how great it is at hiding a tummy.
Lately, I’ve been loving the silhouette under vests.

I wore my white pants cuffed high, and then decided on my dark floral Cariuma sneakers.

The vest was a tad scratchy against my neck, so I added this fringy scarf (made by my mom ages ago) and attached a pin and bee charm to it.

I think the bee charm picks up on the colors in the sneakers and makes it very whimsical.
My earrings are also yellow, and the bracelet *made by Judy, has yellows and blues in it.

SUNDAY

This outfit went through a bunch of changes as I shared in my email.

The skirt is one that I recycled from a dress.

Then I had the navy vest hanging on my valet rod and wondered how it would look with the skirt.

This vest has been showcased years ago with many style variations.

I thought a scarf belt would be fun, and then added pink ballet flats along with sparkle.

MONDAY

We are off to Yogalates today, and there is a chill in the air.

That’s why I grabbed these Yoga pants…they cover a bit more than what I wore during summer classes, but they are still lightweight.

The blue shirt is a long sports bra, and then I layered a half-sweatshirt on top. I bought this half-sweatshirt this way, but it would be an easy upcycle. Just cut off a sweatshirt under the armholes.

In our class, we go barefoot, so I threw on these mules for easy on/easy off. I added a necklace and bracelet because we are running errands afterwards.

Instead of a hat, I threw on this elasticized headband.

TUESDAY

I found these track pants while thrifting, but they had an elasticized hem. I decided to cut off the elastic part and make them hang normally.

Of course, this morning, I cuffed them (see how I cuffed it over itself from this video.

Then I added a crop top and jacket with the pants, along with my sparkle star sneakers.

WEDNESDAY

3 skirts?? You betcha. We wear 3 layers on top sometimes…a turtleneck, blouse, and sweater, for example.

So why not 3 skirts?

I’m wearing this lilac and orange print dress, and then layered this sheer polka dot skirt over it. (My mom made this sheer skirt, and I’ve worn it over a silver skirt in the past.)

Then I layered another shorter tulle skirt under the sheer one (seen here as a top).

I wore the eyelet shrug (my mom borrowed it and wore it years ago) upside down and used a pin in the front.

White sneakers and earrings for the final result.

THURSDAY

I wore this bright pink top (seen with long sleeves, but I cut them off) and layered it over a sleeveless dress.

I wanted to crop the top, and there are 3 good ways to do that, which I’ll show in a video soon. For this photo, I created a knot with a clear elastic and tucked the extra material underneath.

I added a pink beret and gold Mary Janes.

FRIDAY

I am in Love with this sheer print top from Just Be Youtiful. I wore it earlier this summer with silver jeans (Sunday night of this week in July’s daily outfit post).
It’s also very similar to the green one I have and wore for wedding guest style.

I wore the top with one of my first pairs of wide-leg jeans that were featured in a post about how to wear wide-leg pants.

I kept everything else fairly simple with my silver Mary Janes and silver earrings.

Thank you
