The Adventure of a Life Fully Lived

By now, I hope I have helped you as we explored the
essential principles of embracing later life: accepting the inevitability of
Aging, recognizing it as a privilege, cultivating the qualities that make life
meaningful, holding yourself with dignity and openness, and pursuing passions
that connect you to the world.

The later chapters of life offer something unique: freedom
from the pressures of youth, the Clarity to focus on what matters most, and the
opportunity to leave a lasting Legacy of Love, Wisdom, and generosity. These
years can be the most rewarding adventure, not despite age, but because of it.

My hope is that your take the lessons, stories, and
reflections I have discussed as an invitation: stand tall, open your heart,
engage with curiosity, and pursue what makes you feel alive. The privilege of
aging is not simply to live longer, but to live richer, fuller, and more
meaningfully. Every day you are given is a chance to write a chapter that
matters, for yourself and for everyone whose life you touch.

Aging is not the end. It is the triumph of a life
well-lived.

I served as a teacher, a teacher on Call, a Department Head, a District Curriculum, Specialist, a Program Coordinator, and a Provincial Curriculum Coordinator over a forty year career. In addition, I was the Department Head for Curriculum and Instruction, as well as a professor both online and in person at the University of Phoenix (Canada) from 2000-2010.

I also worked with Special Needs students. I gave workshops on curriculum development and staff training before I fully retired
