BACKGROUND:

At its third-annual combined gathering of CEOs, CHROs and CDOs, CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion™ (CEO Action) will host more than 300 signatory organizations on November 14, 2019, in New York City. Key CEOs will be available for interviews to discuss the significance of this gathering, coalition impact and their role in advancing diversity and inclusion in the business community.

The November 14 sessions will be a series of intimate and candid closed-door, CEO-to-CEO, action-based discussions, framed by acclaimed diversity and inclusion Experts and other provocative speakers. This is a rare opportunity for the nation’s business leaders to collaborate, share ideas and otherwise make progress on their shared mission to drive change and promote equity.

The CEO Action coalition is the largest CEO-driven business commitment to advance diversity and inclusion within the workplace, representing more than 800 CEOs and presidents of America’s leading businesses, academic institutions, and nonprofits. Signatory organizations collectively represent more than 14 million employees. Each signatory pledges to cultivate a workplace where diverse perspectives and experiences are welcomed and respected; employees feel comfortable and encouraged to discuss diversity and inclusion; and where best-known actions can be shared across organizations.
