The Parkinson’s Today Educational Symposium, held in February 2025 and presented by Parkinson’s Resource Organization (PRO) in collaboration with The Michael J. Fox Foundation, was a powerful in-person event dedicated to informing and empowering those affected by Parkinson’s disease. The symposium brought together leading Experts in neurology, movement disorders, wellness, and Caregiving to share the latest research, treatments, and resources for improving quality of life.
Key Highlights:
Educational Panels: Sessions covered advancements in Parkinson’s research, integrative therapies, the benefits of early intervention, and patient-centered care strategies.
Expert Speakers: Neurologists, movement disorder specialists, therapists, and professionals from PRO’s Wellness Village contributed insights and answered audience questions.
Community Resources: Attendees were introduced to PRO’s Wellness Village Resource Directory and invited to participate in virtual support groups and upcoming educational offerings.
Inspiration and Hope: Moving stories from individuals living with Parkinson’s and their care partners highlighted the strength of the community and the importance of connection.
This event marked PRO’s return to in-person programming since the pandemic, launching a bold new chapter for the organization as it continues its mission of support, Education, and advocacy—now enhanced by meaningful collaborations like that with The Michael J. Fox Foundation.
