Every half hour an American child is diagnosed with cancer. While this is a terrifying disease, there is still plenty of hope. As treatments continue to advance, more than 85% of children diagnosed with cancer survive five years or more. This is a huge improvement from the mid-1970s when the 5-year survival rate was about 60%.

Our guests today are John Guastaferro, Executive Director of Hyundai Hope on Wheels, and Emmy Cole, Youth Ambassador who has herself survived cancer.

Since 1998, the non-profit organization, Hyundai Hope On Wheels has contributed to research and program grant funding, bringing its total giving to a quarter-billion dollars.

You can help fight childhood cancer by donating on their website below, OR when you buy a Hyundai car. All Hyundai dealers nationwide, and Hyundai USA, donate a portion of your purchase to this fund for research, treatment and survivorship.
