My weekly breakdown was two dresses, two pairs of shorts, a skirt, and pants. The real question is, what did you wear for your week?
I think you would enjoy signing up for the emails below. In addition to the free eBook, my email Family gets personal tidbits about what’s going on in my life, along with other happenings, sales, information, giveaways, extra photos, and interesting articles.

SATURDAY
Today was a stay-at-home day. I was going to work on my laundry room painting project. Yet we also needed to run to the library and CVS, so the dress covered my biking shorts almost like a cover-up.
I found this Converse dress thrifting, and it’s the perfect casual, t-shirt dress. I see the newest version is only in lilac or black.
I loved the idea of lime green sneakers with the purple dress, and then added my colorful bucket hat and earrings.
The outfit seemed very minimal to me, but I wanted to make it easy to remove for my house project.
SUNDAY
This dress is longer (as seen here), but I wanted to change things up.
I wore this lime green cropped top under it and then used my beltless belt to shorten the skirt. (I placed the belt and then pulled up the dress over it.) Since the dress is already ruched, it just looked like more ruching.
However, it did seem bumpy, so I added this scarf (worn over a t-shirt last summer) as a belt.
And these “floral” shoes have been around for ages, plus I wore my fruit earrings.
BTW, I Love the focus on the legs since it was a messy hair day.

MONDAY
I went for a monochromatic look…it’s interesting. Not my norm, but it’s good to try new things.
It’s probably our last cool spell before the summer hits, so I took advantage of it.
The “tights” are leggings I wore for dog walking, and I will keep them on for Yogalates class.
Then I wore these red boots.
About the top. It’s an asymmetrical top that I even cut off some of the bottom hem because it hung weird. BUT TODAY, I turned it upside down.
The neck is around my waist, creating a cool one-shoulder look.
Here is the video of the upside-down top.
The orange strap is my sports bra for workout class, and then I added a gold metallic belt and gold statement earrings.
TUESDAY
With dog training class today, I tend to wear more casual and easy-to-walk-in outfits.
I grabbed this pair of floral joggers (from Just Be Youtiful boutique). These types of joggers are a best seller at her store, and even though she doesn’t have this exact style/print, she always has something similar.
I wore a tunic with the joggers and then layered this brown sweater vest over it.
Creamy sneakers and an orange brooch at the “v” plus my straw earrings finished it off.

WEDNESDAY
I finally washed some of the thrifted items I recently found, so I wore 2 of them together today.
The grey knit skirt is super comfy. If you’re one who loves that pencil skirt look but wants to enjoy being able to move around and sit with comfort, then these knit skirts are your BFFs. Widget below if you’re interested.
I also wore the velvet blouse as a wrap (last button buttoned behind me like in this video) to create a better silhouette, plus you can see the fun t-shirt and belt.
I tried using brooches on the sleeves to hold up the cuffs…not what I’d consider a success, but you don’t know until you try it.
FRIDAY
This blazer was just passed down to me from a friend, so I wanted to wear it.
I wore it with casual cotton shorts and a sleeveless crop top. Yet I think the white blazer takes it up a notch.
Funny story: I wouldn’t wear white blazers for the longest time because they reminded me of the white lab jackets we had to wear in dental school.
These Ros sandals are some of my fave neutral sandals.
I felt very plain until I added the earrings and scarf threaded around the button and through the button hole.

My goal with my daily looks post is to find things that help inspire you with my daily outfits and to bring a smile and kindness to your life. I truly think that clothing is our way to express our personality visually.
