The Holiday Season is a joyful and beautiful time of year. When you are separated, divorced, or in the process of divorce, it can be an extremely painful and emotional time. There are so many questions to answer. Where are the kids going for each holiday and when? How do we split the family? Can we agree on spending limits for the kids or grandkids? What about traditional friend parties? Will we both attend? Will the girlfriend or boyfriend be there? How do the in-laws or grandparents fit in?

Listen as Pat Owens, a Divorce Care facilitator with decades of experience, shares strategies for coping with conflict and the emotional roller coaster during the holidays.

The key is to plan, plan, plan and communicate. It is not too early to think through all of the questions so you can have a more memorable holiday focused on the spirituality of the season.
