When Friends Die
I have a heavy heart today. I just found out that a dear friend of mine has passed away. It’s such a painful reminder of how fragile and precious our time together really is.
I can’t help but think about how important it is for us to stay in touch, especially as we get older. Life can be so unpredictable, and knowing that we have each other to lean on makes all the difference in the world.
Please, let’s make an extra effort to reach out to each other, to see how we’re doing, and to ask if there’s anything we need. If you’re on the Golden Connections– if you notice one of your GOLDEN Friends hasn’t posted or interacted in awhile, let them know you’ve missed them and noticed their absence. There is also a simple call, a message, or a visit can mean so much to those that live close by. Let’s remind our friends that we love them and care about them deeply. It’s easy to feel invisible or forgotten sometimes, but our friendship can be the light that brightens someone’s day.
Our golden connections are so precious as we age. Every single one has meaning and a profound impact on our lives as we age with them. By staying connected and showing our love and support, we help each other feel valued and cherished. Let’s hold onto that and make sure no one feels alone.
I’m here for you, always. Sending you a big, warm hug and all my love,
Kathy Tarochione — ☀ Your Golden Friend ☀
