In this episode we speak with Dr. Meghan Walker about the evolution of Health care and her new book Impact Medicine.

Dr. Walker is a naturopathic doctor and Entrepologist (On-tre-pol-uh-gist), focusing on health and business optimization for clinician entrepreneurs and game changers. As an entrepreneur, Meghan started and sold her first business while in University and is a co-founder and past CEO of the digital health media start-up, Bright Almond. Meghan co-founded and sold her first clinic, The Integrative Health Institute after graduation from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and went on to found and sell her second micro-practice, Entrepology Performance Labs.

She is currently the host of the podcast, IMPACT with Meghan Walker, Co-Founder of Health Hives, and CEO/Chief Cheerleader at Clinician Business Labs – a platform to assist clinicians to scale and amplify their businesses.

Meghan is an award-winning speaker, having spoken on international stages and through multiple media outlets on topics related to women’s performance medicine, brain health and entrepreneurship. Meghan is the host and producer of the annual entrepreneurship conference Impact LIVEs and most importantly, the bedtime story reader to her three girls.

Cathy Biase Cathy Biase BSc., RHN, CPCC

Cathy Biase is a Holistic Nutritionist and Certified Professional Cancer Coach. She received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto at St. Michael’s College, majoring in Psychology. She is a graduate of the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition and received her cancer coaching certification from the National Association of Professional Cancer Coaches.

Cathy specializes in the functional application of nutrition for root cause health improvement in the area of chronic disease with a focus on cancer care.

Cathy has appeared on television and at speaking engagements educating people on topics such as nutritional support for cancer patients, managing side effects of allopathic cancer care, the Microbiome and its links to health, immune support, improving gut health and cancer coaching. As well, she is the host of The Health Hub, a radio talk show and podcast covering various aspects of integrative health.

Cathy’s education along with her personal journey through a cancer diagnosis has given her a profound understanding of how vitally important proper Nutrition and Lifestyle are to achieving optimum health.
