Iris Apfel died earlier this month at the wonderful age of 102. She was an extraordinary individual, who became a fashion celebrity and designer much later in her life. A true fashion icon, Iris showed that older adults can look, live and act however they want, regardless of their age. Her refreshing take on life and amazing style will surely be missed.
