60 Seconds for Story Prompt Friday: Embracing Hope

  1. 60 Seconds for Story Prompt Friday: Embracing Hope 2:05

Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is 60 Seconds for Story Prompt Friday with questions carefully chosen to help you collect stories in the oral tradition or spark your own writing. Either way, you’ll say, “Thanks for the memories.”

Hello to you listening in Mbabane, Capital of Swaziland (or Eswatini)!

Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is 60 Seconds for Story Prompt Friday on the last day of the year.

Have you ever wondered where music goes when it stops playing? Maybe it never stops. Maybe it’s always there and it’s we who have stopped listening.

What if Hope is like that? What if Hope is always there but sometimes we fail to recognize it?

What if it’s as simple as this: Hope – like music – is a living energy – always there – always beckoning – always waiting to be received and embraced. Is it true? Is this the way it works? Of course. Because what you’re looking for is looking for you. And that includes Hope.

Story Prompt: This New Year’s Eve what is beckoning you? What do you Hope for? What are you willing to welcome in and embrace? Write that story!

Practical Tip: The magic of stories is also in the sharing. If you wish share your story with someone or something.   All that matters is you have a story.

60 Seconds is your daily dose of hope, imagination, Wisdom, stories, practical tips, and general riffing on this and that. This is the place to thrive together. Come for the stories – stay for the magic. Speaking of magic, I hope you’ll subscribe, follow, share a nice shout out on your social media or podcast channel of choice, including Android, and join us next time! No hands!” That’s been the story of Diane's life. Showing up - maybe scared but not afraid - because when you fall down 7 you get up 8.
