Today, I’m excited to share a milestone that means a lot to me: Superpowers for Good has officially earned Substack’s Bestseller badge.

That means more than 100 readers have chosen to become Impact Members (paid subscribers).

I’m grateful for that recognition, of course. It’s a meaningful signal on the platform. It adds a little visible credibility. It says something important to anyone discovering our work for the first time.

But what matters to me far more than the badge is what it represents.

It represents trust.

Substack put it beautifully in the note they sent: Few things express trust in media better than a paid subscription. I think that’s exactly right.

To everyone who has chosen to become an Impact Member, thank you. Your support does more than help pay for this work. It validates the mission. It says that stories about impact, community, and Investing with purpose matter. It says that shining a light on people using business and capital to do good in the world is worth supporting.

And to our free subscribers, thank you, too.

You are not on the sidelines. You are part of this community. You read, share, comment, encourage, and help spread the work. You make this publication stronger. This milestone belongs to you, too.

In fact, that may be the thing I appreciate most about this moment: it reflects a community effort. Some members stepped forward to provide financial support. Others helped by reading faithfully, sharing posts, forwarding the newsletter, telling friends, and cheering us on. Together, you built this.

For our paid subscribers especially, I hope this milestone feels affirming. You backed this work early. You believed in it. And now others have followed your lead. I hope this little Bestseller badge feels like one small sign that your support was well placed.

We’re still building. Still growing. Still working every day to make Superpowers for Good more useful, more insightful, and more worthy of your trust.
