Singapore – Day 3
Thanks to my doctor, physical therapist, and a lot of work on my part, I was able to survive yesterday. I walked more in a single day (including stairs) than I used to be able to walk in a month. Since leaving home for Europe alone at age seventeen, Karen Gershowitz has traveled to more than ninety countries.
In pursuit of her passion for travel, she lost and gained friends and lovers and made a radical career change.
